South Africa has announced a total lock-down to protect the population from CORONA infections! As well as any public life, our daycare centers are closed and the families in our communities have to isolate themselves at home. The few income sources are cut off and basic food and health supply can’t be provided. Many families are desperate!

Matchbox forms part of the TOGETHER FOR CAPETOWN network, our instantly created platform to raise funds for our EMERGENCY FOOD PROGRAM. Our aim is to feed the 450 children from our partnering ECD Centers and their families and furthermore, to provide 1 Mio meals to hungry children until the end of 2020.
