Born and raised in Kwazulu Natal, in the heart of the Zulu culture in the East of South Africa, Linda studied arts after completing school. After he qualified in 2007, he was drawn to the vibey art scene in Cape Town, where he was introduced to the art of ceramics. Linda joined the art collective ‚Arts-in-the-forest‘, initiated by the Master of Ceramic Anthony Saphiro, where Linda co-created outstanding contemporary ceramic.
In this context Linda began to apply his personal painting style onto clay bowls and vases. Inspired by graphical elements originating from the Zulu culture, Linda developed a unique way of decorating ceramics with expressive lines and ornaments.
Linda’s edition of hand thrown vases are engraved and glazed. They measure around 9 cm diameter.
All vases of Linda’s 2nd edition are available, if not labeled otherwise.
All vases of Linda’s 1st edition are taken.
